The Bert Show Introduces Newest Cast Member Brian Moote

BrianMooteOn Thursday morning, The Bert Show officially introduced the newest member of their nationally syndicated morning radio show, Brian Moote. Moote joins existing hosts Bert Weiss and Kristin Klingshirn weekdays from 6:00 a.m. to 10 a.m. EST in over 17 markets, bringing plenty of laughs along with authentic, no-holds-barred conversation about the day’s most talked about topics in the pop culture world.

“Morning radio is absolutely my favorite thing to do in the world. It is such a blessing to be able to get up early and focus on making people laugh”, says Brian Moote. “I look forward to getting to hang out every morning and try to make everyone laugh by sharing stories from my life.”

Originally from Washington, Moote started out his career working in special education with at-risk youth in foster care. His personal love for stand-up comedy grew, touring comedy clubs and colleges across the country leading to radio and TV appearances. He moves to Atlanta from the West Coast with his wife Katie Waissel-Moote who is a singer/songwriter from London and their two dogs: Moxie and Norman.

“Chemistry is everything when you do a morning show, and I felt a chemistry with Brian the first time we met,” says Bert Weiss, host of The Bert Show. “He’s fun. He’s smart. And what really tipped the scale is that he’s 6′ 3′ and I’m confident with him at Power Forward we can win our intramural bas-ketball league.”
